Launch of News Pundits and New Year Pundit Awards

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Crystal ballImage via WikipediaToday we are launching News Pundits. News Pundits is a new blog which provides a forum for some of our top users to comment on running news stories and predict their outcomes. I’ve never failed to be impressed at the level of knowledge required to be a top Hubdubber and thought it would be a great opportunity for them to share their views.

To promote the new News Pundit blog we are kicking off the New Year Pundit Awards. These award, which we plan to run annually, will review predictions for 2008 made 12 months ago. Five lucky winners will walk away with an engraved quaich. It goes without saying that few people predicted 2008 to turn out the way it did so we actually expect competition to be tougher for the wooden spoon which goes to 2006’s worst pundit!
